Terms of Service

Welcome to PhotoRevive. Please read these terms carefully before using our service. By accessing or using PhotoRevive, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.

1. Service Description

PhotoRevive is an AI-powered online photo restoration service. It uses the GPT Image 2.5 image model (production model ID: gpt-image-2.5-web) through an OpenAI-compatible image API gateway to repair, denoise, and colorize uploaded photos. Results are returned as PNG images in 1K Standard, 2K HD, or 4K Ultra output tiers.

The service is provided "as is". Restoration quality depends on the original photo condition and level of damage. We make no express or implied guarantees about restoration results.

2. Account Registration & Security

• You must provide a valid email address and complete verification when registering.
• Each email address may only be associated with one account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Do not share or transfer your account.
• If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, change your password immediately and contact us.

3. Credits & Payment

• Restorations consume credits: 1K Standard costs 1 credit, 2K HD costs 3, and 4K Ultra costs 12.
• Credits are purchased as one-time packs — no subscription, and they never expire.
• Credit purchases are non-refundable. Please purchase only what you need.
• If a system error on our end consumed credits without returning a result, we will refund those credits.
• All prices are in USD and processed via a third-party payment platform.

4. Acceptable Use & Content Safety

You may use this service only for lawful photo restoration. You must not upload, request, store, or distribute:

• Pornographic, sexually explicit, or other adult NSFW content.
• Violent or graphic content, torture, terrorist propaganda, or content encouraging harm to others.
• Hateful, discriminatory, dehumanizing, or threatening content targeting a person or group.
• Child-inappropriate content (CSAM), including sexual exploitation, sexualization, or sexual implications involving minors, whether real or synthetic.
• Deepfakes or impersonation of real people, including face swaps, undressing, intimate imagery, or fabricated speech or actions; using another person’s likeness or voice without consent is also prohibited.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property, including unauthorized protected works, characters, or brand marks.
• Privacy violations, fraud, illegal content, or attempts to bypass our safety limits.
• Only upload photos you have the legal right to process; identifiable living people depicted must have consented to that processing.

If we identify suspected violations, we may refuse or stop processing, remove photos or results within our control, restrict restoration features or freeze credits, suspend or terminate accounts, and report illegal or child-safety risks to authorities where required by law. Unused credits may be forfeited where permitted by law.

Reporting Content

To report uploaded or generated content, email blacklaw@foxmail.com with your account email, restoration or order ID, relevant page link, and a brief description. Do not email child sexual abuse material or other illegal images; a record ID and written description are sufficient. We protect reporter information and normally acknowledge and begin reviewing reports within 1–3 business days. Child-safety or imminent-harm reports are prioritized, with an initial assessment targeted within 24 hours. We may be unable to disclose specific outcomes where law or privacy obligations prevent it.

Content Review & Moderation

The service offers preset photo-restoration modes only and does not accept free-form prompts or face-swap instructions. Before processing, we validate account access, image format, and file size, and use fixed instructions requiring preservation of the original people and composition. The image-processing provider may apply its own safety filters. We do not manually pre-review every upload or output and cannot guarantee that automated measures detect every violation; reports and detected suspicious activity are reviewed by our team and handled under this section.

• We review reports using the description, restoration record, and available service logs. Photo files are retained only for the period described in the Privacy Policy and may no longer be available after deletion.
• When a violation is confirmed, we may remove or stop serving the content, refuse further processing, restrict features, freeze or deduct related credits, suspend the account, or permanently ban it.
• For suspected child sexual abuse, terrorism, or other serious illegal risks, we may immediately restrict the account and report to or cooperate with authorities as required by law.
• You may request a review of an enforcement decision at the email above, including your account email and relevant record ID.

5. Intellectual Property

• Your photos:You retain all copyright to photos you upload and to the restored results. We claim no rights over your image content.
• This service:The design, code, logo, and copy of PhotoRevive are our property. Reproduction or commercial use without authorization is prohibited.

6. Privacy

How we handle your personal information and uploaded photos is described in ourPrivacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

• AI restoration results are for reference only and do not constitute a guarantee of historical accuracy.
• The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or force majeure. We are not liable for any losses resulting from such interruptions.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect losses, loss of profit, or loss of data.
• Our maximum liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you have paid for credits in the past 6 months.

8. Service Changes & Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate all or part of this service at any time. If we terminate the service, we will provide at least 15 days' notice by email and refund any remaining credit balance.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Updates will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you in advance by email for major changes.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes shall first be resolved through negotiation; if unsuccessful, they shall be submitted to the competent court in the location of the service operator.
